Skywall

What the camera passes

  1. Over the Pacific Ocean moving toward Central America
  2. The southwest coast of Central America heading toward the Caribbean Sea
  3. Crossing Central America toward the Caribbean Sea
  4. Over the Caribbean Sea moving toward Cuba
  5. Over Cuba with Florida and the Bahamas beyond
  6. Over Florida and the Bahamas traveling toward the Sargasso Sea
  7. Over the Sargasso Sea heading out into the Atlantic Ocean

How to set Caribbean Sea as your wallpaper

  1. Install Skywall and open it from the menu bar.
  2. Find Caribbean Sea in Earth from space — the app groups films exactly as macOS does.
  3. Click the card. Skywall fetches the film from the source macOS points at, into the folder it already uses.
  4. It becomes the wallpaper on every display, and the screen saver when the Mac goes idle.

Nothing is copied to our servers, and nothing is left behind if you remove the app — the film stays in the system’s own Aerials folder.
