Skywall
San Francisco Fog, an Aerial film shown full frame

What the camera passes

  1. Over the Marin Headlands looking toward the Golden Gate Bridge
  2. Crossing the Golden Gate Bridge toward the Presidio of San Francisco

How to set San Francisco Fog as your wallpaper

  1. Install Skywall and open it from the menu bar.
  2. Find San Francisco Fog in Cityscapes — the app groups films exactly as macOS does.
  3. Click the card. Skywall fetches the film from the source macOS points at, into the folder it already uses.
  4. It becomes the wallpaper on every display, and the screen saver when the Mac goes idle.

Nothing is copied to our servers, and nothing is left behind if you remove the app — the film stays in the system’s own Aerials folder.
