We collect nothing.
No accounts, no telemetry, no crash reporting, and no analytics on this website. This page says what that means in practice.

The app
Skywall never sends us your settings, your choice of film or your usage. The only outbound connections are the ones listed under What the app connects to.
What Skywall stores on your Mac
Three values, in the standard macOS preferences file under ~/Library/Preferences:
- The film you last chose, as a file path.
- Which films you marked as favourites.
- The date you first launched the app.
Beside it, a thumbnail cache under ~/Library/Caches/skywall and a lock file under ~/Library/Application Support/Skywall. It changes no system setting: the wallpaper and screen saver macOS keeps are yours to set. Removing Skywall leaves those small files behind, and the Aerial films stay in the system’s own wallpaper folder, where they were already.
What the app connects to
When you pick a film that is not yet on your disk, Skywall downloads it from the system’s official content servers, using the address listed in the manifest the system maintains. That request goes directly from your Mac to those servers; we are not part of the exchange and never see it.
Card thumbnails are fetched from this website first and, when it has none, from the same system servers. A thumbnail request carries nothing but the film’s identifier, and this website keeps only the server logs described below. That is the whole list: no telemetry, no analytics.
This website
No cookies are set and no analytics run here. There is no tracking pixel, no session recording, no advertising network and no third-party script. Every asset the page needs — the typefaces included — is served from this domain.
The site is served by Cloudflare, which keeps standard server logs (IP address, time, requested address, browser string) to deliver pages and defend against abuse.
Email and the feedback form
Mail to support@skywall.app is forwarded to the developer’s mailbox. The exchange stays in that mailbox until you ask us to delete it. There is no mailing list.
The feedback form becomes one such mail and nothing else: it is not stored on the way, and no third party handles it. It carries what you wrote, the address you gave if you want an answer, and, when you arrive from the app, the Skywall and macOS versions, your Mac model and how many displays you have. Leave the address empty and there is nothing in the mail that names you.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it. Write tosupport@skywall.app and we will answer within thirty days. In practice all we hold is the mail you have sent us.
