Legal
Terms.
These terms cover using the Skywall open beta.
Last updated 9 September 2026
Who you are dealing with
Skywall is made by Tigran Mhitaryan, an individual developer resident in Kazakhstan. There is no company behind it. “We” and “us” on these pages mean him.
The open beta
Skywall is in open beta. You may use it for personal and commercial purposes on any Mac you use. You may not redistribute the app or take it apart to build a competing product.
A beta changes. Features may be added, altered or removed between builds, and the beta itself may end or be replaced by a different release. We will say so on this site when that happens.
Feedback
Feedback is welcome, at the address below. Anything you send us about Skywall may be used to improve the product, with no obligation on either side.
The films
Skywall ships no video. The Aerial films it plays are part of macOS and belong to their owners. The app plays the files the system has already placed on your Mac and, when one is missing, fetches it from the system’s official content servers.
Your right to those films comes from macOS, not from us; these terms grant you none.
What is not promised
Skywall is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. It depends on parts of macOS that can change without notice, so we cannot promise it will suit every Mac, every display arrangement or every future version of macOS.
To the extent the law allows, we accept no liability for any claim connected to Skywall. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Ending it
You can stop using Skywall whenever you like. Deleting the app leaves the few small files listed on the privacy page behind, and the films stay in the system’s own wallpaper folder. We can withdraw permission to use the beta if it is used in breach of these terms.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute that cannot be settled by writing to us first. If the consumer law of the country you live in gives you rights or a forum this clause cannot take away, it does not take them away.
Changes
These terms may change. The date at the top of this page changes with them.
