Skywall

4K landscape wallpapers for Mac.

Glaciers, deserts, redwoods and coastlines, filmed from the air and built into macOS. Each one a 4K master, played as it was recorded.

Where these were filmed.

Monument Valley, Iceland, Yosemite, the Grand Canyon, Sonoma, the redwoods, the Sierra, Hawaii, Scotland, Greenland, Patagonia, China, the Gulf dunes, and India from the Goa coast up to the Himalayas.

One place, several hours.

Most locations appear more than once, at different hours and from different heights. The names carry the hour, so you can choose the mood before you choose the place.

What you get when you set one.

Each film is a 4K SDR master, the same file the screen saver uses, and it plays on every display. Skywall plays it behind your windows, all day. If the film is not on your disk yet, it comes down from the system’s official content servers.
